Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sade family during this difficult time. It was shared through the Quad City Blues that Mark Sade, "The voice of the Blues" passed away on June 19.  Mark brought High School hockey into the homes of many hockey families with his knowledgeable and passionate commentary.  His contributions to raising the profile of high school hockey in the Quad City area will be greatly missed.  The following information was provided by the QC Blues.

The Blues family is saddened to announce the passing of Mark Sade, (12/13/73 - 06/19/20) the “Voice of the Blues”. Mark’s son Axel played for the Blues, graduating in 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Heidi, daughter Samantha and her new husband (former Blues player) Logan Weitting, daughter Abby and son Axel. Services will be announced at a later date.
