Tryouts for the QCHA Squirt (Birth years 2006 & 2007) and PeeWee (Birth years 2004 & 2005) Full Travel Teams will take place at the Rivers Edge the evenings of Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7. Squirt tryouts are currently scheduled to begin at 5:30pm and conclude at 7:00pm. PeeWee tryouts are currently scheduled to begin at 7:15pm and conclude at 8:45pm. Please pay attention to announcements containing updates and additional information.
Note that the House Select team tryouts will take place in the form of the House League evaluations that will take place in early October when house league starts up.
As for Full Travel Teams, there will not be a tryout make-up time unless a skater has a letter from a doctor that he or she cannot participate due to medical reasons. The injured skater should still register and write a letter prior to tryouts to the Director Travel stating and substantiating the reason. Skaters who tryout only one night will still be eligible to qualify for the team, but their opportunity to make the team will naturally be compromised.
Teams will be announced by Saturday, September 10th with practices beginning Tuesday, September 13th. Families of players named to the respective teams need to be prepared to sign a team commitment and other forms to be provided along with a deposit of $250 before the first practice.
