House League

House League Programs

House League is the Quad City Ice Eagles in-house league.  We have house league teams ranging from the Mini Mite level to high school.  House league is designed for players of all ability levels that want to have fun while developing the skills necessary to play hockey. Fun is the main focus of house league. Players participating in Mite through Middle School are on the ice three times a week, two combined practices (all players in each age group participate; travel, select and house players) and one game (only house league players). High school house league players are on the ice one time per week for a practice and once on the weekend for games. Your child will develop skills and find confidence while building relationships that will last a life time.

House League Placement

The QCHA registration requires that each player register for the appropriate house league, based on the player's birth year.

There have been requests from players to move up an age level.  The house director will review each of these requests on an individual basis. If you would like your player to be reviewed for movement between age groups, you need to follow the appropriate steps for approval.

Please send a written request to the House League director via email:  director.house@quadcityhockey.com.  You must include player's name, player's date of birth and brief reason for the request.

Once the request has been received, the house league director will review the request with both the current coach, as well as the coach in the new age group.

Decisions to allow moving up will be made based on player safety concerns, the skaters ability and the difference in registered players between the two age groups in question.

Decisions will be final.

If there are any financial differences between the age groups, the fees will be adjusted.

Players MAY NOT participate in any practice or game outside of their age designated group before an official approval has been granted.
