QCHA High School teams, known as the Blues and Lady Blues, play at the highest competitive level available in the Quad Cities. 

The Blues compete in the Midwest Hockey League (MWL).  The schedule and points can be found at this link.  All players are registered in one of many local area high schools in the Quad Cities.

The Lady Blues is currently a 19U girls team.  Our Lady Blues is the first high school hockey team in the state of Iowa.  They also compete in the MWL, tournaments and friendlies within the Midwest area.

High School teams have their own practice schedule hitting the ice three to four times a week. Traveling to games and tournaments around the neighboring four state region. QCHA high school teams also have the opportunity to host teams from other communities at their home rink. Evaluation tryouts for the team are held annually in the late summer.
