Girls send in your celly video to #CellyChallenge

#CellyChallenge 2019 IIHF World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend Oct. 5-6, 2019 Why: The #CellyChallenge is intended to provide players a fun and easy way to participate in the IIHF World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend celebration, while driving awareness and engagement both in the leadup and during the weekend. What: Whether it’s on the ice, in the driveway or in their living room, we’re asking players to record a quick video of their go-to goal celebration and post it on their personal social media accounts with the hashtags #CellyChallenge and #GirlsHockey. When: The #CellyChallenge will begin on Monday, Sept. 30, with a kickoff video and information on how players can participate on USA Hockey’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels. USA Hockey will continue to promote the #CellyChallenge with graphics and usergenerated content through the weekend, soliciting as many entries as possible. Influencers: USA Hockey is asking various hockey influencers to post their own videos for the #CellyChallenge, including members of the U.S. Women’s National Team and the National Hockey League. Professional, college, and local teams and associations are being asked to help promote the challenge as a whole using their own goal celebration videos or the assets provided by USA Hockey here. Prizes: A select number of entries will be chosen by USA Hockey staff to receive USA Hockey prize packs. The winners will be contacted by USA Hockey the week of Oct. 7-11, 2019.
